[Appearance]: PB is Colin ford. Stands about 5'7 with a slender but muscular build. His hair is kept neat as he can and usually at medium length.

Adam's world is much like our own. The year is 2013 and everything that has happened in our history has happened exactly up to this point.
That is until April 14th of 2013 when the world is hit with a techno zombie apocalypse that was started by Aliens.
Yup, you read that.

A zombie apocalypse started by aliens. Why did they start a zombie apoaclypse? Well these aliens are just like kids. They think of the human race as a bunch of ants under a magnifying glass so why not set their whole world on fire and watch them scurry about?

Literally there is no other motivation for these aliens than that. They've watched humanity from afar, not getting involved and just taking notice of what humans do. It was fun, watching earth people kill each other, but they decided to finally take a part in this little "theater show" they were so invested in.

They introduced a gas that was filled with tiny little robots on a portions of each country around the world and then stopped and just watched. Anyone in those sections would breathe it in and thus suffer from symptoms of coughing up blood, high fever, and greying of skin. The bots would be merging with these people's systems. When they fully integrate with the person's system, they override the person's brain thus killing the person that was and replacing it with some kind of bio program makes them act like flesh eating, undead creatures. The bots also self replicate using their host body as a way to take minerals and other elements for the person's body to compose more. Thus, why the zombies seem to decay so fast.

Since the gas would no longer be employed, but instead techno zombies would be able to infect already dead corpses just by biting the dead body and eating away at it. This can go for living people too. A bite will infect another person. HOWEVER, this time around a zombie bite can be cured if people can catch onto what the infection actually is. In the early stage of the infection the nano bots are not replicating fast enough and not strong enough yet to begin total take over. If a powerful electric shock or powerful magnet is employed over the infection the nanobots simply die and the person is safe.

To kill a techno zombie is to kill any kind of zombie. You have to destroy the brain. The bots use the brain as their local command center and if it's destroyed, they cease being able to control the body and die with the body.

So, with the onset of a zombie apocalypse, society has all but collapsed and people are just trying to survive.
